The Maine Aquaculture Association (MAA) announced Monday that Sebastian Belle, its executive director, has been named president of the National Aquaculture Association (NAA) board of directors for the 2022 term
Belle has served at MAA since 1984 and previously was the Maine Department of Marine Resources' aquaculture coordinator. He serves on the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Marine Fisheries Advisory Committee and on the board of directors of the Maine Fishermen’s Forum, The Island Institute, and The Maine Aquaculture Innovation Center, according to a press release from MAA.
