The private equity owners of Danish salmon smoker Vega Salmon are hopeful of attracting interest from some of Europe's biggest salmon producers as they put their asset up for sale, Undercurrent News has learned.
Danish investor Maj Invest, which owns a 93% stake in Vega, has appointed Norwegian M&A advisor Alpha Corporate Finance to run the sale process, and Alpha partner Jorgen Horntvedt told Undercurrent the target is to have the sale wrapped up by the end of the summer [...]
