According to organizers Diversified Communications, Seafood Expo Global/ Seafood Processing Global attracted 22,160 visitors from 143 countries from April 26-28, down 16% from the previous year.
Some 1,664 companies -- down 5% year-on-year -- from 80 countries exhibited at the event, covering 35,862 square meters of combined exhibit space.
The exhibitors included 73 national and regional pavilions.
Finland, Russia, Scotland and Uruguay were among the new pavilions represented at the expo; and new exhibiting companies came from Barbados, Seychelles, Tanzania and Uganda.
